Star Trek... Going Boldly (Again)

We saw the new Star Trek movie last night. I'm already a bit of a Trek-geek, and I was impressed! Amazing, in so many ways. :)

'Re-wired' in Minneapolis

Last week, I was in Minneapolis, USA, with other 24-7-ers - talking, praying, learning and laughing together, impersonating one another's accents, etc. Here's a few reflections...

Nearly seventeen years ago, I married this beautiful woman... I am grateful for every moment. Happy 39th Birthday Emma. I love you so much.

Angel is 6

Today... Angel is six years old. The party starts at 5pm.

Community Meal

What a beautiful day! The sun shone.

The children played... playmobil, couronne and Skalextric inside... badminton outside. The adults played too... and then we ate Emma's amazing food, and talked and prayed together. Beautiful.

Choose What You Read

"Would you like a free book?" said the man standing outside Waterloo Station last Tuesday, gesturing behind him to the wall stacked high with novels. "We want people to choose to read books instead of rubbish free papers - the londonpaper and the Lite."

"Amen to that!" I replied.

Poppy's Cochlear Implant

Here's Poppy (and Spider Pig), standing outside Great Ormond Street Hospital. Poppy and I spent all day today, and all day last Friday there... and Emma spent a day there with her last Monday as well. Her cochlear implant keeps failing, and the techies can't work out why.
