The Wedgie of Justice

Emma's (and therefore my in-law) 'Uncle' Al arrived at our house on Thursday afternoon having cycled 560 miles, to give us a wooden wedge with 'JUSTICE' written on it.

What Every Parent Knows...

Emma and I have been looking after 2-year-old Esme and 1-year-old Lewis this weekend, so Helen and Ian could pop out to Madrid for the re-launch of 24-7prayer Spain. "Mummy and Daddy are coming back today," smiled Emma. "Yeah, I know," replied Esme matter-of-factly, "and then I won't have to use you."

I've been wondering all evening how to sum up the final day of our prayer room in Frances Bardsley School for Girls. For some of the students (and perhaps the staff too?) today has been a very special day... of fun and laughter, of much-needed peace... and for some, of tears.
